WV HEALTH CARE ASSOCIATION ENDORSES CAPITO

CHARLESTON, WV – The Capito for West Virginia campaign announced today that the West Virginia Health Care Association has endorsed Senator Shelley Moore Capito’s campaign for reelection in 2020.

“Senator Capito is working with our organization to improve access to long-term care through Medicare by changing the wait time rules for people to transfer from hospitals to nursing homes. This will have a major impact on ensuring patients are getting the right care in the most appropriate setting,” said Marty Wright, West Virginia Health Care Association CEO. “We endorse Senator Capito for reelection because she is fighting for the needs of seniors and all citizens.”

“The members of the West Virginia Health Care Association provide critical care for some of the most vulnerable West Virginians. It is important that they can continue to serve patients in need in their communities across our state,” said Senator Shelley Moore Capito. “I’m pleased to have their support for reelection so I can continue advocating for the needs of West Virginians.”
