WEST VIRGINIANS FOR LIFE PAC ENDORSES SENATOR CAPITO

CHARLESTON, WV – Senator Shelley Moore Capito has been endorsed by West Virginians for Life PAC (WVFL-PAC). WVFL-PAC President Wanda Franz, Ph.D. released the following statement:

“We commend Senator Capito for her demonstrated support for the right to life of all West Virginians from conception to natural death. Her 100% pro-life voting record is a testimony to her continuing support for the cause of life.”

WVFL-PAC cited not only Senator Capito’s 100% voting record, but also her votes to defund Planned Parenthood and stop government funding of abortions. Senator Capito is a co-sponsor of both the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Act. The Senate is scheduled to take up both bills this week. She voted to repeal and replace Obamacare. And she voted to confirm both Justice Neil Gorsuch and Justice Brent Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

“I am honored to have the support of WVFL-PAC and pro-life leaders across the state in my campaign for reelection,” said Senator Capito. “I have forged a strong working relationship with West Virginians for Life and look forward to working with them in the years to come to advance our shared West Virginia values.”

WVFL-PAC is the internal PAC for West Virginians for Life (WVFL), West Virginia’s leading pro-life organization. WVFL is affiliated with the National Right to Life Committee and through education and legislation is working to build a society where all human life is respected from conception until natural death.

Senator Capito is the proven conservative in the race for U.S. Senate. For her principled, conservative leadership, Senator Capito previously received the endorsement of the National Right to Life Committee PAC. She has an “A” rating with Susan B Anthony List. This year, Senator Capito has been awarded the American Conservative Union’s Award for Conservative Excellence and the Family Research Council’s True Blue award based on her 100% voting record.
