CHARLESTON, WV – The Capito for West Virginia campaign announced today that both Republican National Committeeman Larry Pack and Republican National Committee Woman Kayla Kessinger have endorsed Senator Capito for reelection in 2020. The two released the following statements to the campaign.
“All West Virginians are fortunate to have an incredible leader like Senator Shelley Moore Capito representing us in the United States Senate. She travels our state, listens to our concerns and stands up and fights for us,” said Larry Pack. “Senator Capito is also the leader of the Republican Party in West Virginia. She has led the way electing the Republican majorities we have in the state’s congressional delegation, state legislature and board of public works. I am honored to stand with her in 2020.”
“Senator Capito is a role model for women and young girls across West Virginia. She has inspired us to become involved in public life and shown us how to lead with conviction,” said Delegate Kessinger. “Senator Capito’s work supporting candidates and the party organization across our state have helped turn West Virginia red and ushered in the conservative leadership that is moving our state forward. I join all Republicans in standing with Senator Capito in 2020.”
Last week Senator Capito had the largest campaign kick-off event ever. She has previously been endorsed by all three members of the U.S. House: Representative David McKinley, Representative Alex Mooney and Representative Carol Miller. Auditor JB McCuskey and Agriculture Commissioner Kent Leonhardt have also announced they stand with Senator Capito for reelection in 2020.
